Id like to thank you all for your help on this board. My IVA is finally over. I would have had two more years but an F&F was accepted by my creditors and I received my letter today. Everyone has been paid and it has been completed successfully.

Now comes life after the IVA and the repair of my credit. Not that I am going to get myself in this pickle again. The only thing I intend on borrowing for is a house(unless I win the lottery). Everything I will save for and pay off right away.

I know that others have had alot of worse experiences than myself but I can say that building up to the IVA and struggling through it has been a tough one.

Congrats to everyone that has completed their IVA's and to those of you that are still in them there is a light at the end of that tunnel.

I'm sure it is!

It gives the rest of us hope that we can get there one day as well.

Congratulations Skint! Well done on completing your IVA. I have five months left to pay into my IVA and have to say these last few months are d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g more than the last four and a half years. Posts like yours help me keep my spirits up! Congratulations again. Enjoy your debt-free life!
IVA Completed - 5 January 2010. Yay!!

yey well done Skint, and I hope you won't be from now on (skint that is)
I don't know about anyone else, but I have gotten so used to not having the £500 a month that I pay into my plan, that when my plan is finished in 2011 I will continue to pay it into something else to bump up my pension.
