to all the people who feel like they are drowning in debt.

just wanted to let you know i've found my armbands and have surfaced from the pool. today i have set up a DMP with CCCS and have a light at the end of the tunnel.

yesterday i spent all day crying as was convinced i was gonna be made bankrupt/ have my car repossessed/ not be able to feed my kids etc etc (u know what i mean)

well today have embarked on DMP and will pay £250 per month and will be debt free in 6 years.

after setbacks such as failed IVA i never thought i would feel this positive as i'm typing this HSBC have called me and I felt so smug saying IM ON A DMP.

i have had so much inspiration from you guys on the forum, you've really made me feel that i'm not alone.

so to anyone who's struggling, MAKE THAT CALL!!!

i'd reccomend this feeling to anyone, (hope my positivity is contagious lol)

Excellent news for you and it should also illustrate that DMP's are a valuable tool in this area and don't deserve the bad press that they sometimes get.

I'm glad you've found a solution Chefchic. OK it might not have been the one you were looking for, but you've found one, and done something about your debts.

I bet it was great telling HSBC!
