We too had a FD account, and whilst the going was good they were the perfect bank...but once they didn't like what type of customer we were then that is a different matter.
As soon as I kknew we were going to an IVA we opened an Account with Lloyds (who I am impressed with)....FD did hassle us until our IVA was approved...then scuttled off like the rest of them!
I must admit I did like their on-line banking facility, and found it different when I had the new Lloyds one, but it just took a bit of getting used to, and now I find them just as good. Also nice to have no minus figure on the statement!!!!!

That is the best bit not have a minus figure at the end of a statement. I have just done my accounts for the month and I will be £50.65 in credit [8D] not a fortune but better than a debit.

Might treat other half to a trip to the seaside and fish and chips on the pier--- we know how to live. [;)]

Nothing you can buy feels as good as not being in debt.

It is a lovely feeling knowing we are not going into 'that' overdraft each month....and maybe having a lieelte spare cash here and there to enjoy.
Fish and Chips at the seaside sounds fab.....unfortunately it is raining here [:(].
