I have a secured loan with them (not my brightest hour). They have sent me a letter today telling me that they will honour my loan for the period but will NOT be accepting new business.

I believe that they are not lending any more money at present. This is probably the result of an already poor performing book, and a lack of funds to lend in the current market.

ps. has anyone reduced their payment to Firstplus as a priority debt and how do you go about it?
