Well done for getting through the first year, and I am sure you will sail through your review. I will let clients of DFD answer your specific points about their procedures, as I have no knowledge of how that firm operates.

Thank you Melanie I must admit this site has been great and so helpful. How nice it is not worrying about phone calls / letters they all stopped following my IVA aceptance. DFD are fantastic I would recommend them to any one. my debts were £80k with 14 creditors. I think the experts such as Melanie have been so supportive here.

Hi Mark, well done for getting to end of year one! I am pleased it ran smoothly for you. I recently had word back from DFD following completion of second year review. I had forwarded them the completed Income & Expenditure form, etc back in Nov 2008 detailing that I only had an extra £8 spare income that I could potentially add to my IVA payments. Got a call from DFD about 2 weeks ago and was informed that review complete and no need to increase my IVA payments for this year. So far DFD have been pretty good with me. Just like you, I have kept up to date with all my payments and don't hear from them until review time. Have you had the review paperwork from them yet?

Good luck
Last payment made on 1st Nov 2011. Happy to be debt free!

Again - great to see one of the larger firms getting positive feedback, when so often the posts are negative. Well done DFD!

Melanie I should clarify that my IVA was originally with Clearstart for almost one year before DFD bought them over. Clearstart were good too and I must admit that I was a little apprehensive when I heard that DFD were taking over. However can now safely say that I was worried about nothing. My IVA is a relatively straight forward case. I don't have property and don't earn overtime etc etc so less communication required with them. But yes they have been very professional with me and I happy with their service in the few instances that I have dealt with them so far.

Nice to see some positive feedback for DFD for a change.

Thanks everyone DFD direct have ben very good I had a wage increase during my first year and they just extended my iva by 1 month and kepted my payments the same. my 1 st year is up in April so not far away. I would asumme they will increase my payments as my salary increase was high. just hope they dont demand back payment even though they know from my payslips my new net pay.

Been with DFD for nearly 2 years and so far so good - no issues, good communication and quick response when it has been needed.
Our first annual review went smoothly despite us expecting to have to extra due to my husbands £3k a year pay rise ! But no it stayed the same - I get the feeling it may have been a mistake on their part and therefore this year we may not be quite so lucky but we will see !
