You mean she's left you on your own?!? And what do you mean you can't work the remote - even I, a complete technophobe, can do that! Now my mobile phone, that's a different matter...

Aaah, now I understand! I actually do have a problem with the remote - choosing the right one! Dave is into his boy's toys and we have the TV, Sky box, DVD recorder, DVD for surround sound and multi region DVD!

I hope your daughters spoil you tomorrow. I really miss my dad this time of year so I hope they tell you how special you are.

Don't worry about your Housing Assoc tenancy. HA's are in the business of housing people not making them homeless! When I was a housing manager, tenants that went into iVA/Br I would always try and help them - Do you have a joint tenancy at the moment? and are you both going BR? If only one of you is then the tenancy could vest in the other partner if not could you find a guarantor for the tenancy? I am sure if you speak to your Housing Officer they will try every way they can to assist you. Are you with a large HA? if so they will have a policy. 9 times out of ten we didn't even bother changing the tenancy but I have been out of housing for 6 years now - But the ethos of housing is not to punish a tenant twice even when convicted of a crimminal offence. I hope this helps?
Best wishes

Thank you rainbow.
My partner had a meeting with our Housing manager
today, and I am so relieved, we have been told there
is nothing to worry about, and evern better news,
they have a councillor who is willing to answer
any questions we may have, although stressed to stick
with my IP,as the advice so far has been spot on..
I have been given a date to attend court, which is
quite quick, so I am reeling a little, as the next
step is just around the corner 4th July to be exact.

All in all, today has been quite a step forward.
Will let you all know the next move.
Thanks again for all your support, this is a great
site, and I dont know what I would have done,so far,
without all your positive encouragement.
