well, what a week and it is only tuesday. Most of you have probably seen my post about the clutch on the car.

Well last night the rain, thunder and lightening came and we got flooded!!!. We were lucky and have only lost a piece of carpet at the bottom of the stairs. The street had about a foot of water.
I had to have the day off work to clean up. The water came into the hall and the kitchen. What a smell!!!!

I am counting down now to our holiays. We are off to weymouth in 2 weeks and I can't wait.

Hope none of you were affected by last nights weather.
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

Skint, bad news about the flooding, but at least you seem to have got away comparatively lightly!

I can imagine the smell!!![:(]

Enjoy Weymouth - always used to go there when I was a kid.

I hope the weather is good for you.[:)]

We are ok, but others have had their cars flooded and been told they are right-offs. It was scary, but we are through the worst now. I hope!

Thank you all for your kind words. We are drying out now, and the smell is going slowly.

Roll on Weymouth.

Well, we have just about dried out and the smell is going. We have taken my car off the road for a few weeks. The tax was due on it last week but cos water got in it, the car smells so we have declared it SORN until after the holidays so it has time to dry. To be honest, I can't sit in it - it makes me feel sick. SO I am getting up at 5 to run Ian into work so that I have got the other car to get to work for 9. Boy am I tired but it will be worth it.

The car sounds awful! Wouldn't be able to stand that myself! Glad the house is back to normal anyway!

Lets hope there's no more heavy rain for a while!
