I know this may seem a strange thing to be shouting about ..... but yesterday I bought a LEG OF LAMB. This is the first time I've been able to afford a decent leg of lamb for over 4 years and am sitting here savoring the aroma of the cooking meat wafting in from the kitchen. I'm even having an early lunch cos I can't wait to get me dinner chewers in.[:D][:D]

Lucky you! Ours are frozen from Asda! No allotments nearby and garden is like a postage stamp! We do have a couple of dwarf apple trees and some strawberry plants though!

Can't beat homemade cottage pie! Our pork chops were lovely, the crackling was very crispy! A cholesterol special!

We've got gammon and new pots and veggies. Lamb sounds lovely though with mint sauce of course.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I am veggie but cooking hubby a pork chop, happy to cook any meat except lamb as the smell makes me feel sick--sorry for you lamb lovers the only time my husband eats lamb is when we have a meal out once in blue moon.
