We freecycle :) Recently I've passed on a kids Ikea Trofast unit; received an old wheelbarrow for the allotment; and when someone asked for an alternator for an old car; checked in the garage and offered it up. Everyone's a winner! I have heard some netative stories, but not been affected personally.

i've had and passed on some good stuff, but sometimes it makes you laugh.i offered up a double bed,one guy wanted it delivered and wouldnt (as opposed to couldnt) pay petrol, one woman wanted it on a two week trial and another wanted me to trawl through 100's of pages in various catalogues to find one similar and best of all someone wanted me to lie on it and have pictures taken of myself along with the measurements.in the end i gave it to a preganant young girl setting up home with her oh.but you do get chancers and idiots asking for plasma tv's ,ps3 and the like, and then there was the offer of half a jam jar of toe nail clippings for medical science !!!!!
i'm not skint,i'm financially challenged
