Have been to citizens advice. They think the figure I have been given is extortionate. They are writing to FM for a statement. I haven't been able to get on so we'll wait and see.

I haven't been on the forum for a bit and thought I ought to put a word in for Freeman Jones. Although we still haven't got our cc, (apparently PPI is to blame!) somebody from Freeman Jones has phoned us once a week to keep us in the loop. Although this doesn't help us get on with our lives it does make us feel more valued. So Thank You Freeman Jones and Steven Hewitt. Hopefully I'll soon be able to post that the precious cc has arrived.
Life after IVA is wonderful.

Little update.
We have agreed on a payment scheme to pay off what we owe, but then a twist.....we were told we had won a PPI claim and it was ours to do as we wish, so with the payments arranged we asked for it back, a little sigh of relief as our washing machine and fridge haven`t been working properly for the last 2 year, and I am desperate for some dental treatment ( 3 teeth down to just over the gum level, gum growing over on 2 teeth, can provide pics if required, as a result of not being able to pay for this whilst on IVA). A week passed so we rang to as how we would be getting the money, cheque or straight into the bank ? Now 3 weeks on, and about 6 phonecalls, and we are just keep getting an excuse that is it in the hands of the legal team.
Forgive me if I`m wrong, but this is getting beyond a joke now. I will give them till this friday then I will be seeking legal advice.
P.S. I am going into hospital and will be off work for approx 8 weeks from my operation (hopefully company funded sick pay) so I am also worrying about this.
When does the nightmare end with this company...........

Is it the creditor which is taking the time or your IP firm?

The PPI company (part of freeman jones) said the funds had been released and were ours, its the main Freeman Jones who seem to have stopped it.

Who is the PPI company dealing with this for you, an on what basis did they say the money would be yours to keep? Surely this is the decision of your IP and not the claims management company, regardless of who owns it?

Might be a catchy name, but the staff obviously are the same as Freeman Jones, just there for the money and not much help.
My biggest concern is the £25 a week "Management Fee", what is this actually for ? approx 6 call`s a year and a payment scheme which was set up at the start of my IVA, then twice a year my income expenditure forms, thats £6500 over the 5 years for not much in the way of communication. Poor service from a poor company.....

By "Management Fee" do you mean Supervisor's fee?

Please could the last poster enlighten us as to what he/she believes they are "The Victim" of? I'd be most interested.
