Hi Guys. Well, today is the start of our forum weigh-ins, so this is week 1 where we can weigh ourselves and record our weights at home. I wouldn't expect anyone to post their weight, but as we go through the weeks we can post our losses (and gains, but no pressure to do that if you don't want to). If Fridays are not convenient for everyone, then of course, the day can be changed. Don't forget to take your three vital measurements as well. Even if you don't lose any weight, you are sure to be losing inches.

Good luck to everyone who wants to join in. My aim is to lose 10lb in the next 10 weeks. By all means post your aims and we can all support each other.

Here's to a slimmer you. Enjoy and be happy.

Well done for taking the first steps Viki. Do you want to aim for that stone, or a pound a week for 10 wks?

Ooh Kazzy, fab, I'll hold you to that. I'm going to go for the whole stone as that is exactly what I've put on. I just want to get back to the weight I was when I was working. I'm doing situps every day but can't get out on my bike as the weather is awful. I'm also not running round like as I was in the restaurant and eating comfort food so it's no wonder I'm gaining weight. It'll be great us all doing it together, especially if chocolate is the reward treat.[:p] X

That's the trouble when you are used to being so active and busy and then all of a sudden you have time on your hands. If I was at home all day, I would eat all day and lord knows I would be the size of two tanks, not just one [:D][:D]. Well you have something to look forward to now, a slim figure, to meet all your new friends at FF and a whole bag of those honeycomb middles that weigh so little, what more could a girl want.

please can i join in too...since going in to IVA 24 mths ago i have gained almost 4 stone...misery needs chocolate...so i will weigh myself tomorrow morning and see how i go.!!!
IVA completed 11th Dec 2009 due to a Full and Final with the fantastic help of Michael Peoples and

LD, Swans_Girl & MTL, anything goes - whether we want to lose weight or gain it. Really in my eyes, the object is to just gain the support that we are all so good at doing. We were attracted to the forum initially because we all so desperately needed help, and of course we still do. So really this exercise is just to give a little help along the way. Again, not to judge anyone because they've had a 'naughty' week or anything like that. We all know that a problem shared is a problem halved, and I really needed help from you all yesterday because I was gutted to have gained so much weight this week.

We will all have weeks where we can't be angels and I especially need to learn not to beat myself up all the time about my failures and misgivings. If we can lose a few pounds (or gain a few in your case LD), then that will be great for morale, motivation and our own well being.

As I say, I am not qualified in any way to give advice, nutritional information or any kind of counselling. All I can share are my own experiences, but support costs nothing and I feel that I want to give something back to you all who have given so much to me.

By the way, I hope this thread is ok with Admin as I don't want to do anything 'illegal' on the forum. We are just a group of ladies and gents who could do with a bit of help along our weight loss way.

Tomorrow's another day.

Well ... that's it! I have topped 13st and hate it ... mainly due to my temporary lodger bringing me in supper from the American Embassy (McDonalds to you and I) ... my target is 11st.

Can I join please but my weigh in will be Monday, new term at collge, we had an open day with photos this week, my goodness, I looked like I was going swimming straight after and had put my rubber ring on ready. I feel terrible for letting my self get like this. I will post my weight I'm not bothered, hate to think what it is though!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
