[:0]Wow kazzy thats absolutely fantastic! well done you.You must be so chuffed[:D]& the salsa dancing sounds like great fun, keep up the good work.It definitely is an inspiration to read about how well others are doing.& well done to you as well Dm,every pound counts! i too avoid the scales as i get into a bad habit of wanting to weigh myself everyday just to see if ive lost anything,so i prefer to go off how my clothes feel & see my body shape changing. But i got weighed on mon & am just under 13st[:0][:(]xx

Hi all debtmountain I too have found it a struggle as I also am underactive, though the doc says on the right medication it shouldnt make a difference, but I think it does make it harder.

Having said that I am ecstatic. We started on monday, the usual just cutting out the bad things and walking, and when I weighed yeserday I had lost 4lb and steve 3lb. It wont be like that next week though we have a party tonight and I love buffet food and i am having just what I want, partys are to enjoy and thats the bit I do enjoy. I am the sausage roll and voleau vent maker so I have had to test them lol they seem ok but I will have to chek each batch, you do understand dont you. ha ha

Well done to all and keep it up, but dont make it a grind a little of what you like here and there wont hurt if you stick to it the rest of the time.
Vicki putting your head in a chocolate fountain everynow and then wont hurt !!!! xx

Oh god now I am testing the sandwiches or at least the throw outs. I could never work with food, I'd get stuck in a doorway on the way out !!!!!

Kallis you can come and have a sausage roll at mine any time. xx
That sounded bad I think !!

I know what you mean Ang! Made me chuckle anyway!

I love a good buffet, me and a friend used to do the catering for any parties at work years ago (when we were allowed such things in the office). I loved it, ut had used to scoff a fair bit whilst preparing!

I know what you mean about working with food though. It would be so tempting to keep stuffing your face all the time!

Hi Everyone,

Ang,

So good to hear from someone who has the same Condition as me. And Well Done on losing 4lb this week (and your hubby as well).I was diagnosed about a year ago and like you after being put onto the correct dose was told that I would be able to start losing the weight but like you say, it does seem much harder to lose it. Do you get very tired as well? I could sleep for England[:D].

Enjoy the Party Tonight and like you say, just enjoy all those tasty snacks, I love Savouries more than the Puddings but if there was anything with Chocolate[:p], like Viki, I'd be first in the queue. I don't think it hurts to have a blowout now and again as long as you are good the rest of the week.

Viki,
Not sure about Sausage Rolls dipped in sour cream, much prefer them dipped in fresh cream[:p] only kidding. I suppose you shouldn't knock it if you haven't tried it[:D] Well Done on losing the 2lb this week as well.

Tori,
Well Done on losing as well and enjoy your barbecue[:p]
