Last minute (very last minute) child minding problems means we haven't been able to go, very disappointing.

The annoying thing is, I could walk to Jans from my house, it's only about 5 or 6 miles.

Well I have not been in from work long and could certainly do with being among company... terrible shift... but hey ho maybe next time. Hope you all have a super evening... must be great to put faces to names.

What a wonderful and very generous gesture from Mel for sponsoring such an event. Mel you certainly look after the people of this forum and not only with your invaluable advice. You're a star indeed.

Just landed home and wanted to say a big thanks to Jan and Dave for another excellent day. I had a great time and it was lovely to see old friends and make some new ones. Pity about the weather, but it did turn out nice in the end. My fridge is now full of goodies too, and am really looking forward to roast pork for tomorrow's lunch, and the extra extra hot curry for Monday's supper!
