I've got visions of him stamping his feet and throwing a tantrum Lily.

Lots of hotels for us to look at.[:)]

It's so great when someone takes your side and support you in family quarrells isn't it ... what a gem your son is Lilli. Hopefully we will get the chance to meet him in November ... I shall bring an extra mince pie [:)]

Hi all
Thanks Lily I have looked at a lot and did try for the premier and airport hotels etc but they have little or no availability on that date I think most coming will need rooms. All of the above have only about five or even less left on that date. We need to find somwhere with rooms around the £50 to £60 mark. The city centre area would not be my choice either, but if not directly in the centre like the Brittannia, may have to suffice, we need somwhere around the £50 to £60 cost for a double room and with its own parking, that way no one has to walk anywhere to their car or stand on corners (as I did after the Brittannia, mind you I got more offers that night than I had in the last 20 years)
The paragon as Melanie had seen looks nice inside, the area Digbeth I think is not the best but so far looks the only possibility, the Campanile that is just outside near the expressway looks nice but has a lot of mixed reviews, more with the staff I think and service. I think I will drag steve out and we will actually look and see what they are like. Anyway all help appreciated, I am going to have another look and see if there is any more.

OK Ang, no problem, I was trying to find something in the slightly out of solihull area as there are good links. I clicked on the hotels and it says from 50-60 quid a night but then when you take another look its flipping 3 times more. Digbeth is a long way from the station, there is very little parking by the station which made me think of international. We will get there.

Thanks mate
Digbeth is only a short taxi from the station and we can pick a few up if needed as we can arrive anytime. Hopefully the hotel will have its own parking so those driving wont have a problem anyway. Anyway we will go and see what it is like and I can check taxi prices as well. We can always post a taxi firm number so no black cabs are needed they are the ones that charge. Keep looking though I know you are busy .
Have a good night honey.

Gosh Ang I'm not sure we did Bradford in about 2 and a half hours not too bad so you would have to add the extra bit. Well worth it though for a night out, and you could come earlier and do something else as well, the bullring or cadbury world, sealife centre quite a bit to do.
Make it w eekend away. I do hope you can come.

Hi Barb
Not yet I have sent a couple of possibilities to Melanie. So hopefully it will be sorted soon.
