Andy and I are really looking forward to hosting the next Frugal Friends meeting in July, and we have been overwhelmed by the number of people who have said they will be attending.
As it is my turn to make the sandwiches, could I just have a show of hands (or posts!) as to who is definately coming, and who are maybes. I am determined to outclass the lovely food and hospitality endured at my last hosting in Birmingham, and so would like to firm up numbers so I can confirm with the caterers! Just hope that the hotel can cope with us all! Bradford will not know what has hit it!
A reminder that the evening is designed to concentrate on F&Fs. No - not full and final settlements, but friends and fun! I do not intend to have any formalities whatsoever, so please just drift in and out as you feel like it, and Andy and I will ensure there is a ready supply of food and drink to hopefully ensure a good evening.
I am bringing Angela and Sarah from my team, and we will be running an informal debt clinic from 6pm onwards for anyone who would like to have a more confidential chat about their financial concerns or just get some advice on their own IVA or bankruptcy case. These will be held privately, and if anyone is interested in meeting one of us, then please e-mail me directly to the website for further details.
I look forward to meeting old friends and new, at what appears to be turning out to be our largest attendance ever. The good samaritan, commonly known as Andy Davie, must take full credit for the development of these get-togethers, and long may they last and develop even further. See you all in Bradford.
