myself and hubby will be there...for the first time...its a bit like the old saying..."coming out of the closet"..hee hee....first sort of outing with people saying..."here we are in a an IVA"...scary..!!!we may come in and take one look at everyone and turn tail and run..!!

we may bring another couple...will let you know if we do.....

What time of day is the meeting? I have overtime that day, so can only make late afternoon / evening.

I am "one of yours" and am so happy with my IVA, I can't believe I've made 9 payments already, it just seems like yesterday I saw you in Cardiff!

It would be lovely to meet up again.

The event is on a Saturday, and we normally start around 7.00 pm, so that should fit in nicely with your schedule if you can make it.

Hi all I thought I would revive this post as they can get left behind, and with lots of new forum members just wanted to let them know that the meeting is in slough on september the 13th. They usually start about seven and go on till about eleven. These are very relaxed we all natter about our iva,s swap tips and generally socialise. It is a great chance to put faces to names and is not in anyway formal. I look forward to them and so does hubby now as well. Drinks and a buffet are provided so kindly by Melanie, and they have all been great evenings. So anybody feeling nervous about coming dont be, I will always meet anybody arriving alone that doesnt want to come in on their own. I was so nervous the first time and lily and I went knees knocking, and we felt among friends straight away.
If you think you are coming then just add a quick note on here so Melanie has a vague idea of numbers attending.

hi melanie...we are def. coming....but i think as the initial thread then jumped to talking about the christmas one and lots got excited about that one ...maybe some will have chosen to give this one a miss..i hope you dont cancel the 13th??...we will hope to get to the november one too
