It will be fine I am sure. A party will be what we make it, not where we are. I am really looking forward to it, lots coming and all friends perfect.

Dunno OT - Walsall does have a railway station!!!!!!!!!!!

Melanie - I have been to this hotel before, a few years ago. We had a good time in the room we were in and the food was good, although it was a sit down meal rather than a buffet. The room was basic, but as you say, it is about the company. The main bar is not too far away from that room.

If there is a wedding on as well, I don't know what the position will be with parking as I can't remember how big the car park is.

That's very true OT. He went to school not too far from where I used to live, and was a school mate of the husband of a friend of mine!

Apparently he once said that Walsall was struck by an earthquake and it did £50,000 worth of improvements.

That would be about right!

I think it's one of the chav hotspots in the UK, it has an awful art gallery building, the shopping centre is nothing to right home about. The best thing to come out of Walsall is the railway line into Birmingham!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been racking my brains trying to think of something nice to say about Walsall and found it [:D] The Arboretum. Went there once and it was quite nice.

There, OT, if you decide to take Mrs OT to Walsall for your Dirty Weekend, you can go for a walk through the Arboretum, very romantic [:D]

Forgot about the Arboretum Debtmountain.

It is a nice park. Pity the illuminations will be over by the time of the meeting. Spent many a happy hour in there with my parents when I was a child.

There is also the leather museum, as Walsall is well known for it's leather industry. Still makes a lot of equestrian stuff and it is really good quality.

There is a lot of regeneration going on at the moment which will hopefully stop it from being such a depressing place.

Only you could think like that![:D][:D]

You could feed the ducks, stroll through the greenery, look at the birds in the aviary (don't think they have any ostriches though).
