Hi
Melanie and myself have decided to hold a new frugal friends meeting in the third week of September, on a Saturday night in the Birmingham area. It will be a back to basics frugal friends with a pub location, a few nibbles and a free bar, all sponsored by Melanie and her IVA Advice Bureau.
All are welcome, partners included. I will firm up dates and a venue asap but if forum members can confirm suitable dates and attendance then it will be a great help.
Regards
Andam Davies

It is about time we all got together again, and hopefully with a central location we can get a good turnout. If this is succesful, then we can look at doing something for Christmas along the lines of last year.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Great, thanks Mel and Andy. I'm sure I'll be able to attend but Jon will be minding the baby! [:X]

I will certainly do my best to get there. I will have to convince my other half to watch the baby too.

Hi Andy and Melanie

If it is in the Midlands then hopefully I will be able to come as Birmingham is not too far from me.

How exciting is that! A night out and meeting all the forum folk! I think I shall go and do some ironing to calm myself down. Nights out for me are soooooooooo rare - but this is soooooooooooo special so got to try try try to get there.

Thank you Melanie and Andy for organising it and sponsoring etc. It is so good of you.

We may be away the first week or so, but the rest of September is fine with us.

We were nervous the first one we did, but it didn't take us long to settle down and have a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Great news, I would love to meet you all (especially you Viki, you saved my life!)

A September night in Brum sounds like fun to me. It's 100 miles, but should be fine.

I don't know if Andy or Mel will be able to arrange any accommodation - if so, it usually come reasonably priced if you can afford it.

Can't make the first one in September but can look at coming to another date in the near future. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I think a fun night would involve being at least 100 miles away from Birmingham.
