Really looking to a good night with all of you guys and gals. It seems ages since we all met up for a good old natter. I'm hoping that Tony Parsons will be able to come too, so if any of you need to pick his brains about mortgages - or just get his predictions about what is going to happen over the next 12 months, now is your chance.

Just caught up with this, At least we will know each other Lesley. Last year I didn't know anyone at all!

Hopefully we won't get the cancellations that we did last year, there were rather a lot!

Mel - there is a Travelodge within spitting distance. The rates for that night are £51 normal, or £29 saver rates. With the latter though you won't get your money back. That won't include breakfast either.

I think to take advantage of the saver room you need to book at least 21 day in advance and payment is made at the time of booking too. I use Travelodge saver rooms (normally the £9.00) when I visit family in Manchester

I was as nervous as anything last year as we only knew people through the forum, never met them before.

Rest assured that you will be welcomed, we're all the same boat and it is good to talk to people in the same situation.

Thanks for that Lesley - I just had a quick look at the hotel and the prices before I went to work this morning, so didn't look too closely at it.

If anyone is going to be coming by train and requires a lift to and from Walsall station, let me know.
