Just had outcome of variation meeting and creditors have accepted my offer of a full and final settlement. Funds transferred to Grant Thornton this morning. What happens next?

That's fantastic dario - you must be estatic! I'm just a little ahead of you, so still waiting for the distribution of funds to creditors, the final report and my completion certificate! Have you claimed PPI?

You will hear from your ip regarding the next steps . Do you have to claim ppi? It can take a few months for everything to be done including the final dividends report and your completion certificate. If you are claiming mis sold ppi it may be longer

Didn't realise I could claim PPI, guess now they have agreed the fand f I could access funds and not have to declare them as windfall. Best to claim independently or through one of the millions of firms that offer to do it for me?

Well done! Mine was accepted last month. since then I have not heard a peep from my IP so I don't really know what happens next. I am just hoping that it all sails through quite quickly and I get my certificate soon.

Hi zega. Welcome to the Forum. Congratulations on your F&F. Even if you are successful re: PPI claim, it's still classed as an asset for your IVA. Until we get our completion certificates it seems we would still have to declare them. There's lots of examples on the Forum of how this has happened to other, so it may be worth a look through. Has you company employed a 3rd party company to claim PPI for their customers?

Just a thought. I've noticed quite a few posts querying what happens post-completion of our IVA's. I wonder if any companies/IP's have a pack or information leaflet which outlines this - including anything we are required to do. I only really know as much detail as I do (not a lot) from the Forum. I'm going to email my CO now to ask - I'll let you the response!

That would be hood GilliB, I think it would be good for the companies to provide information on what happens next for people.
Once my F&F was accepted at the end of June and the funds were sent over I have not heard from them since. I called them this morning to be told that it will take around 3 months for my completion certificate because of all the VAT refunds they have to issue. So until then the funds will not be released to be creditors.
they haven't mentioned anything to me yet about claiming for PPI. Can they do this once my offer has been accepted? wouldn't this drag everything out even more?

Fantastic news about the F&F acceptance.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
