I made my last payment on 15th October, got my review back last Friday to say all completed etc etc, and I am expecting the completion certificate in the next 6 - 8 weeks. It does take time, but it's worth the wait knowing it's all over!

Congratulations on ending yours early, what a great result for you.

Here's to the future!

It is not the issuing of the completion certificate that takes time - merely the receipt and agreement of creditor claims. Most full and final IVAs are proposed to run for a 12 month period, for those very good reasons.

I think it comes out of the pot but not 100% sure.

The variation fee does normally come out of the pot but some creditors are refusing to allow IPs to draw a variation fee. Therefore some IP firms may ask for the cost to be paid before the variation is called so the only person who can answer for sure is your own IP.
