Well guys. The creditor meeting was completed and the full and final accepted, Hurray...we can look forward to a brighter future. Not tied down by the terms of the IVA is a big relief. My life can start again from here. The last 2 years of the IVA has been shockingly hard and caused many problems, including the breakdown of our marriage. The house will now have to be sold as we both need to move on (Although there is very little equity in the house). It is going to be tough going alone especially after 17 years together. It just shows how important it is that people manage their financial affairs the best they can as you would never have thought that a marriage can end because of them. But hey i need to try look forward and thanks to all on here who have and continue to give help & advice. Good luck to all those still on an IVA and try keep your chins up, it does come to an end sooner or later.
For now guys, be well and keep positive.

Brilliant news about the F&F - but so sorry to hear of the breakup, especially after such a long marriage, unfortunately financial problems do cause these things.
Good luck moving forward and keep in touch with the forum so we know how you are doing.

Well Done BD.
My marriage of 13 years went the same way, probably for many of the same reasons, leaving me a single parent with sole care.
Have to say my firm were brilliant and pulled out all the stops to get the F&F through so we could start our new lives with a clean slate.
Best of luck going forward.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Really pleased you got accepted. I am at the early stages myself of the F and F process, originally told 4 months just to get a document, hoping now this is down to 30 days so it is nice to see confirmation of an acceptance with others having gone through same.
Well done BD - good luck for the future with a clean slate. If your marriage was meant to be it would have worked out - eventually when the dust has settled you will move on, these things have a way of working themselves out.
Fantastic news Mikey - congratulations and enjoy your holiday!!
