Had the best news ever today, my creditors have accepted a F&F settlement which ends my IVA.

Many thanks to Andy Davie, forum expert, who has helped me over the last few months with advice and support, this has been invaluable.

Also thanks to the staff at Grant Thornton, in particular Louise, Karol and Kelly who have responded to my questions promptly, professionally and with empathy.

My life has been on hold for over three years and now I feel I can move on. Anyone who thinks an IVA is the easy option and a cop out from the responsibilty of debt is mistaken - try it I say and see how it really is.

Good luck to you all who are still living with an IVA,there IS light at the end of the tunnel. One day you will all feel like I do today and I can tell you it's fantastic. [:)]

Congratulations on your F&F being accepted, must be a lovely feeling, one I hope to experience one day either through F&F or having paid all my contributions, either way as you say there is light at the end of the tunnell and we will all get there at some point. Enjoy your debt freedom.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
