full and final settlement offer submitted.... submitted a full and final settlement offer to payplan on 16th august offering 80%, took 3 weeks just to receive standard money laundering letter and all proof of funds sent back about 6 weeks ago, since then not a word despite me phoning regularly , all im told is the circular is in the process of being checked and they will be in touch shortly, is this timeframe normal, i feel as if i am being fobbed off and stalled and my mother who is providing the funds is considering withdrawing the offer if it drags on much longer, the balance was £ 16,200 and offered lump sum of £12,000 plus 3 payments, i assumed 3 months was plenty of time, but 3d payment will be due in a few days, should i stop this 3d payment to try and speed things up or make no further payments after this 3d payment which is what the f&f was based on? im worried p[ayplan are dragging this out to gain additional monthly payments, i phoned again this morning asking for a return call from my case officere or ip as i havent been able to speak to my case officer since 8th sept!
I wouldn't stop the payments. It won't speed anything up.
It could be that they have a backlog.

the full and final was based on £12,000 plus 3 payments of my normal monthly payment of £451, if i dont stop payments after 3d payment in a few days ill be giving them more than i offered them in f & f, tried that link but i assume ill have to find my original paperwork as it asks for his name, ip number and area, i dont know any of these details
All it means is that your creditors will get a slightly better dividend. You should carry on paying though.
If you stop paying and the offer is turned down, you will be in arrears and would have to make those payments up.

ill keep the payments seperate to deal with that possibility, just dont see why they should get a higher divedend due to payplans intransigence, tried that link again putting in payplan and lincolnshire and it definatley says no results returned, just emailed my case officer
just had call from my case officer after sending email, shes been on holiday and apparently no one deals with it if case officer on holiday! circular being prepared and sent out this week apparently!
I must admit that I have had other case officers deal with things if mine has been on holiday.
Let's hope it all gets sorted soon.
