Cheers Kallis3, i hope its agreed too, financially i am so much better with budgeting and this IVA being settled early could really set me off on the right track. Plus with all the overtime going at work and the prospects of promotion, ill be able to spend it all on myself lol

It is what it is Irish Ram, and creditors are bound to make a commercial decision so long as you are putting forward the best offer availabl.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Cheers, yeah, hopefully they will agree.

On average what usually happens next, say they have their meeting a month form now so the 8th february and its accepted.

Will it be a case of them telling me as soon as and then me sending the cheque and once cleared they send me the confirmation.

Just wondering what sort of documentation I need to expect from them and also what sort of Documents they will require from me so i can be prepared

Cheers

If I were your IP I would want the cheque in hand, so that I could effect a Chairman's Report and Final Report together and close your case within four days of the creditors meeting.

Ask your IP this question directly, as they may have their own policy.

Thank you, so if they dont say anything about a cheque upfront, is it worth mentioning that and saying I could send one to them ready for if accepted

Absolutely - and get their assurance that they will close your case within this timescale as well. You have made all of the effort to get the money together, it is only fair that your case be closed quickly.

If you are in a position to pay off the lot, they will probably snatch your hand off!

Hi there, blimey, I remember your IVA being accepted in 2006.

Hope youre OK, offer a bit less perhaps, they will probably still snatch your hand off in this current climate.

Good luck now.

Offer as much as you can afford to repay back to your relative - you borrowed the money in good faith, and to have the ability to pay it all back in full, with the benefit of no interest having been charged over the last couple of years, must be a great feeling.
