hi my f&f meeting is on the 19/03/09 10am ive asked my iva company if they have had any votes they havent had any at the moment should i be worried?

I wouldn't think so. Your creditors have until the date of the meeting to vote, and you've still got over a week to go.

I'm sure it will be ok.

just a quick update one of my major creditors has voted yes his hoping its good news on thursday at 1000am

more news as my major creditor has voted my iva company has said the rest of the votes are a formality and they have asked me to cancel this months direct debit so heres looking like its been accepted!!!

Okay,

So its been a while since posted on here but thought I would update everyone. I have now sent off my cheque for 8K and am waiting for the next step.

What happens next, do I wait for IVA to contact me via phone or letter?

Also not sure if this will make any difference but a month ago I opened a joint account with my Girlfriend in preperation for my IVA being completed and then sorting all our finanaces out of one account to make it easier. My Girlfriend wrote the cheque with our joint account, so only realised now, will that make a difference as my name is on the cheque and they may think it is my personel money?
