Dear all,

I have been in IVA since july 2007, Paying 1001, original arrangement is to pay 29p in the pound.

My IP is Grant thornton.

My mortgage has gone up 300 pounds since April. As every one knows the prices of every thing has been going up. Hence I am left with only about £500 pounds surplus.

Hence I have made a proposal for a full and final settlement with the help of my two sons.

I am proposing to pay £500 a month for the next 12 months and lump sum of £44000 at the end.The dividend will be CLOSE to 25p.

I have asked for remortaging of property in the 4th year which was in the original modifications to be excluded.

Also I have asked for a clause to be icluded to say that if in the 12 months period I am able to pay to make up the amount equivalent 12 months payment and the lump sum, the IVA to be concluded at that point.

The creditors meeting is set on 30th of September.

I will let you know how it goes.

Any comments?

Thanks.

Hara.

I am proposing to pay £500

Hi Hara,

It sounds good to me, but I am sure Melanie will be along to confirm or otherwise later?

Good luck Hara, that sounds like a good plan - in the current climate, given the time/money value calcs lenders consider, I suspect they'll snap your hand off.....

Let us know how it goes...

I'd be prepared to put my name behind that offer if I were your IP, Hara, so good luck and let us know how you get on.

Dear all,

I thought I would update here rather than start as a seperate topic.

I would like to let every one know that my proposal for a full and final settlement as detailed at the begining has been accepted.

The meeting was ultimately held on 14th of october.

I am pleased that it has gone through.

I will let you know any details as they are vailable.

Grant thornton, who is dealing with my IVA has been very helpful.

With regards.

Hara
