Hi all, myself and my wife were originally 49K in debt, we have been paying £393 per month for 11 months now and we have had an offer from relatives of 21500 for a full and final settlement - does this seem reasonable to put forward to our creditors?
My wife is now pregnant with our second child and this will obviously affect our future payments into the IVA.

Seems reasonable to me, so long as you are not property owners with the need to equity raise at the end of the IVA.

Hi Melanie

We are not property owners so that is good, I will pen a letter to my supervisors and see what they say, from reading other posts that is the way to go I believe
Many thanks for your speedy response

Hi Rich
That is a cracking offer and I see no reason why it should be refused.Make sure your IP puts forward the point that your joint income will shortly drop due to the new baby.
Good luck to you

Hi Rich,

I think the offer that you are wanting to put forward is a good one, Andy makes a good point when advising that you make clear to your I.P that your income will reduce regarding you and your wife expecting a second child.

Please keep us posted on the result [:D]
