My pay goes in next friday and I plan to take ti out in one go.

can you take £1518 out of an accouint, the funds will be available, in one go or are there limits?

It will depend how you want to take it out. Through a cash machine you have daily limits but over the counter you can normally take any amount. Remember the person at the counter will have view of any DD's due to go out etc.....

Usually banks will have a maximum withdrawal amount each day. On the high street this is usually £400 from the ATM and £500 from the counter each day. However, should you wish to take more than this amount you can always arrange this with the bank prior to collecting the money.

apparently you can do it online, i have an online account setup going so will see how much i can do in one go on Friday.

just got my payslip stating the money will go into ny current account on the 15th which is a Sunday, i ahve setup a trandsfer online to go out for the exact amount on the same day to my new account.

Money has been transferred my wages are now in my basic bank account.

To all others use the net to arrange the transfers, I am now so glad I went over to online banking 6 months ago, it ha made things easier.
