I've come home today to a letter from my insolvency company, Grant Thornton to have written to me to let me know there was a Notice of Breach on my account (3 months missed payments).
This is absolutely not the case - I have made every payment this year via standing order and this is the first I have even heard about missing payments (no letters, no calls). I am livid, and I can't get through to them on the phone either.
You need to phone them first thing in the morning to clear this up. It sounds as though somebody has their wires crossed somewhere along the line.

I really hope this gets sorted I can't believe the letter they sent is dated the 15th of March can arrive on the 27th of March either - 13 days later! Unreal.
I'm sad to relate that they did this to me once fairly early on in my arrangement. Despite the fact that they set the DD up on my account for some reason they couldn't account for some of the payments at their end.
Went through each payment made, date it had left my account etc over the phone with a GT staff member. After some to and fro they accepted that the error was indeed at their end and all payments had been made.
About a fortnight or so after this conversation I received my copy of the annual report to creditors, (I had completed an annual review a couple of weeks prior to all this). Second paragraph in, after the introductory waffle, informed all my creditors that I was in arrears and they were attempting to resolve the situation with me.
Good eh.
Needless to say further phone calls ensued and GT again accepted that everything was up to date etc.
Not once did either of the people I spoke to give any hint that they understood in any way the level of anguish that these kind of mistakes can cause.
In both of these cases correspondence from GT arrived at the weekend when I couldn't speak to anyone until the following Monday morning.
You totally get where I'm coming from then! I've just spent ages going through my bank account to copy down all the payments in preparation for speaking to them tomorrow. I hate how they tend to say 'yes' the anything over the phone but then...mistakes crop up (this is not the first time that they've made mix ups).
This time I am going to insist on having things in writing. I've already emailed, I'll call too and I feel like writing irate letter too. They have NO idea how much stress it causes people.
How bizarre. I had exactly the same letter from GT last week informing me I was in breach over 3 missed payments when I aptently wasn't. After firing off an e-mail (which a week later I never had any response to) I called them up. As in the other occasional times I've had to call, the person i spoke to was extremely helpful and explained that it was a mistake their end and it shouldn't have been sent out.
Like yourself I dont think they quite understand how much distress this caused especially as I'm only 6 months away from completion so theres no way I'd breach the agreement after 4& a half years!
I'm sure it will all be resolved for you very soon though.
I'm glad it was an admin error but by the sounds of it not an isolated one and trust there will be measures in place to prevent this happening in the future by GT. Karol is a valued member of the forum for sorting out these things. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
Glad you got it sorted - not good when you get these letters!!

So glad this got sorted for you cherrypink - a shame it caused the unnecessary upset and worry for you and others that it did but hopefully whatever caused the admin error has been delat with to prevent a repeat for others. Its great having Karol on the forum so she can pick up on issues and get them addressed quickly.
