We only got into in the second series. We then watched the repeats of the first on BBC3 and followed on into the second again. Could watch it all day. It's the best comedy of recent times by a mile, at least since Phoenix Nights anyway, and I'm including The Office and Extras in that.

I've never seen Phoenix Nights and I tried watching it on Saturday but I didn't find it funny!

I think I find it funny because my Nan was a steward at a similar social club when I was a lad and I used to spend a lot of time there. Some of the observations that Peter Kay makes are very accurate. I must admit, it's not always "laugh out loud" funny, but it always makes me smile.

I'd love to have a Friend like Nessa, she's so funny[:D]

The Old Granny next door really makes me laugh as well when she flirts with Gavin.[:0] and I'm wondering if Staceys Mum owns a Battery farm as she does tend to make a lot of Omelettes or is that a welsh thing?[:D]
