has anyone ever heard of these, tried their website but not coming up, i received a letter off them today saying sorry to hear of your BR, etc, we have developed a simple system which can enable us to pay off the creditors to annul the BR and then remortgage your home, this is subject to you having sufficient equity in your home.

i haven't heard off my trustee yet, do you think its a scam, as surely the OR would have said if there was enough equity in the house we were solvent, we know there is about £20 k max maybe slightly more few houses in the avenue have just gone on sale, the thing is the firm is in the opposite building from the OR's office, strange!

Kerri

This will only work if you have more equity in your property than debt! And if you did, do you really think you would have declared yourself bankrupt?

You can only annul a bankruptcy if you pay all of the debts off and the costs of the bankruptcy. I think that firms like this just mailshot all bankrupts from the London Gazette in the hope that a lot of stamps on envelopes might get them the odd case.

i did think that myself thanks mel, irony was they never put stamps on both the letters they sent me and hubby and it cost us £2.28 for the pleasure, we thought that they may have been important letters, we said oursleves if we had had that much eequity we wouldn't have been insolvent in the first place, the things people will do to prey on you when you are already down.
thanks mel

Sorry Kerri - but that really made my smile, and I know I should not smirk at your expense! Absolutely typical!

Kerri

Its terrible that you have to pay for their scam, you could get them back by sending about ten letters without postage stamps on them or as many spare evelopes you have lying around that you can put sticky labels on. How do you like it gb?
