Just had a call from GE money who deal with ASDA credit card. Advised was going through initial stages of IVA (nearly told her IVF). she said would put a block on all calls for a month. I told her had sent a letter and so had IP, checked her record and said "Oh yes I can see that" I felt like saying well check your b****y records first, but no I was polite! Advised her would call her when more solid information was rec'd ie dates etc. She gave her number and was very polite with this. Fingers crossed will keep to her word..

You're stronger than me Angela !! I'd probably have blown a fuse. If the information is there, then why don't they save time and money and read it ?

I had a terrible time with GE Money. They kept phoning me even though the information they wanted was right in front of them . I asked them to check their computer screen on numerous occasions . I certainly didnt like to speak to them , yes i do owe them money , but do they have to speak to me as though im a nobody. I hope you have better luck with them than i did Angela.Luckily since iva was approved ive heard nothing from them !

We had a few little accounts that were with GE Money, and when we were originally setting up our DMP, they were a nightmare - they were the ones that always hassled us and throughout our short DMP life they were the ones that would not always freeze the interest.
That said before our acceptance of the IVA, they didn't hassle us for payment, and in fact they were one of those ones that didn't vote at the creditors meeting!
Good luck for the 3rd of April.
k.
