I may have the chance to go for another job that will pay me 4800 extra a year for working unsociable hours. Roughly how much of that would have to do into my IVA, after I’ve taken out the extra travel it will cost me.

Thanks

Hi there
It would largely depend on the terms of your IVA but it is likely you will have to present a new income and expenditure form which will show your new circumstances. Additional expenses will also be taken into consideration. Your IP will be best be able to advise you on this.

Thanks

I agree with Declan that your own IP should be able to give clarification but as a general rule 50% is fair after allowing for any increased costs of doing the job. Any more than that to creditors would be disincentive to finding better paid work which would be of no benefit to anyone.
