I have used some of the money saving ideas people have shared on this site, so in return I would like to share one of mine own.

Most petrol companys offer a reward scheme, collect points and you get a free gift, dont bother with these it can take years to get something good.

I fill up at ESSO petrol stations, not all particapte, but most do. For every £15 you spend on fuel you get a cash reward voucher, once you h1ave 25 vouchers you can claim £5 in cash at the petro
l station you dont even have to send the vouchers of.

I admit i have a company car and fuel is paid for and do abou 1000 mile a week, and so in the average month i claim between £10 to £20 a month.

BUT HERE IS THE BONUS - most places give you more vouchers than you should get, to give you an idea i have just filled up and it cost £46.00, so I should only get 3 vouchers, but was given 7. Before now I have been given 20 vouchers just for £50 of fuel.

Even if you only get £5.00 a month its worth doing, when its a week before payday and you have no money left, its amazing how you can make £5 last.
