Sorry, I've got to share this with someone as I'm beginning to get a complex - one of our German reps thought I was on maternity leave and then followed it by telling me that I'm not as young as I used to be and today I was talking to one of the directors and he asked me when I was due!!! Luckily we were talking on the phone - I'd have been even more upset if they thought I was pregnant and they were looking at me!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Not as young as you used to be .. eh ... funnily enuff none of us are ... nearly as good as young for your age .. or young at heart .. what about the rest then !
Frankly 'when are you due ' is a slapping comment or a swift boot in the testiculars ..

Cheeky sod .. is he bald ? Could be his brain froze !

You make me laugh Mish. I remember when I was a kid and 30 seemed ancient - I'm 32 now and I don't feel any different to when I was a teenager!

Next time he sets foot in the UK (he's based in France - a safe distance!) I'll get my own back!

I used to say age is just a number .. Ive run out of toes and fingers ..

I think ((so far ) that my best decade was my 30's - well I think I can remember that far back .

Only 6 years till I get my first pension and a bus pass .. FFS a bus pass !

40yr olds are totty ! damn even my 2nd ex wife is getting older she'll be 35 this year .. 19 years between us .. we had a joint birthday once - she was 21 and I was 40 ..

No no no , yes .. dont get me started on age oh no..

My daughter is even putting water in my whisky

Skippy

I often see patients who quite obviously look pregnant but will never say it because a colleague once said "so how many months gone are you" to a woman who wasn't pregnant. Instead I'll skirt around the issue by asking "is your general health okay? Has there been any changes to your circumstances since I saw you last?" On most occasions they will say "oh by the way I'm pregnant" but sometimes its like drawing blood from a stone.

In the end you feel like saying "so are you pregnant or just overweight?" but decorum and a sense of wanting to keep my job stops me doing this. Lol.

Regards

Dave (2 months gone in case you were wondering)

Dave
