Hello mark and welcome

I am a little confused by your question, I am not sure if you are asking for an IVA company or have already signed up. If not then try 3 companies (one of them Thomas charles) and see how you feel about what they say. You are looking for straight answers and an explaination of all your options. If you have any further questions or concerns before you decide feel free to post them.

You can obtain a pre pay maetro card from www.extremecred.com. (you will need a debit card to obtain this cost around 9 pounds)

You can obtain a pre pay mastercard from www.myvesta.org.uk My cash plus gold card.

Please make sure you understand the terms and conditions before you apply.

Good luck

PS. The card companies are independant from IVA companies and are available to all.

Wages can be paid onto the mastercard.

Also

www.easykard.co.uk

www.cashplus.co.uk

Have a look through the charges associated with the cards.

I have not used a pre paid card myself, so have no personal experience on service etc. But I have looked at them on the net as it is something I am considering getting in the coming months.

There is a range of companies offering prepaid debit/credit cards, and if you Google "prepaid cards" you should find must of them. Here are two that caught my attention when looking through them.

The card with the cheapest fees, that I noticed is Extreme Cred, but you need to have a debit card to buy the card. Although it can be purchased in your name by family / friends, and once you have the card it can be topped up in cash at post offices.

CashPlus, offer a wider range of services, like paying for the card in cash, topping up at retailers and by standing order etc. Put they do have higher charges

Just to say I've looked into lots of these cards and the CashPlus card looks the most flexible as it is exactly like a normal Mastercard (apart from the factyou have to load it up first!).

Bear in mind though none of these cards are free (CashPlus is £5 per month and £10 setup fee) and they charge you to take cash off the card.

My advice would be to live without one if you can.
