I am sat here watching a preview programme on the Champions league final (as well as watching the forum) and the nerves are beginning to take over.

As you may know, I am a MASSIVE United fan, and I can't wait for tomorrows game. I admit I am biased, but I think that, if Utd field the right team and go for the jugular, we will take a lot of beating.

Whilst I am sure I can count on Skippy, it will be interesting to see what other people think.

Well I didn't even know there was more football on....I thought the last game was on Sunday. My hubby keeps tutting at me, he does try and explain but I think he's given up. Good luck to whoever deserves to win.....or the team with the most supporters on here! Cop out there eh?[:D][:I] Enjoy the match. Viki X

I think there are going to be alot of skint people at the end of all this. My boss is there on a business capacity and she spent £60 on Burger and Chips - WOW! That would feed my family for a week lol!

It was last week when I didn't sleep, as I turned down 2 tickets to the game as I couldn't justify the expense. No sooner had I done so than Mrs Size calmly informed that as it was a once in a lifetime thing she would have been quite happy for me to go.

As for what my 19 year old (another mad Utd fan) said when she found out that I had denied her a trip to Moscow, well that doesn't bear repeating. Suffice to say that the hints for a Mini have been getting steadily stronger.....

I think you should cave in to her hinting!

I also think you may have had to remartgage twice to enjoy a trip to Moscow. The boss sent an SOS e mail begging for money spondoolly.......they are all skint - Now they get to feel like me lol.

I hope you enjoy the game anyway. You could go to the METN and watch it on the big screen if you are local £10 a ticket.

What is the logic in two English clubs going all the was to Russia to kick a round ball around for 90 minutes! We would have happily rented out the Millenium Stadium for half the price.

If I am allowed to have a rant, and I suspect that I'm not, but what the hell. All the local places where I may have a beer with friends after work, i.e the local pubs, are charging £10 to get in, and that is before you have paid for a drink. Utterly scandalous.

I shall be walking along to my local cricket club, which luckily is within staggering distance back, with my 19 year old to watch the game for free, reasonably priced drinks as well, with a free half time buffet (you can voluntarily donate a £1 towards the cost if you wish)

Unsurprisingly, the cricket club will be packed and is limited to members only, the local pubs are still desperately trying to flog tickets.

Absolutely cannot stand rip offs, which is the real reason I didn't go to Moscow. I could have stomached £250 for the flight, but when they increased it to £1000 then no way.

Right, rant over.

Just noticed your post Kamran, but with all due respect, I hope that this is one battle you lose.

Hope you won't fall out with me if we win.....

My brother is there but he is at work, as he works with wait for it Size5, Man U! I think he's their gopher, their comfort blanket! well that's what I call him! He has to be seen! When we went to Manchester once, the team were travelling to Newcastle from (somewhere local to Manc but I can't remember it now but not city centre..maybe Stockport) he had to leave our family meal just to be seen by them! Sir Alex is very funny about this. I've been to a few games and been behind the scenes but they're not my team so no interest. My brother though did get me signed memorabillia which I gave to the local hospice to auction off. I must admit we do have a signed Man U shirt and football amongst my posessions they were inthe Cantona days and my husband would never part with them. He does travel with them sometimes and also escorted David B's, mum and sister shopping somewhere abroad (sorry I'm useless) and they bought him a tie for doing so!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
