The very best of luck tonight.
After being at Saturdays Cup final, and experiencing it all, I can imagine how you are feeling, and those fans in Moscow.
Now we are in Europe, I will scrimp, save and borrow, to try to get to one of the away games.
I kinda want Chelsea to win, not because i like them, but because i think Avram Grant (who was with us) has had a rough ride, and has done so well, that he deserves the victory. I don;'t really mind who wins though and will watch and enjoy the game (nice to be a neutral for a change).

Good luck size5 - hope Man Utd for you. As a footie fanatic I know how the emotions are probably roller coasting right now...and it'll get worse lol.

I'll be watching with a load of pals and hoping for a good match. Hope MU get an early goal so Chelsea will have to come out and play. Fear if Chelsea get an early goal they'll flood the midfield and stop flowing football.

Fingers crossed for you - be nice for me to watch as a neutral instead of biting nails. Saying that our season has just ending and I know the withdrawals will be setting in soon.

How are you feeling today Size5? I'm nervous, although I think Utd can do it if we play to our strengths. I just hope Chelsea don't do the usual - get a goal and then defend. That would ruin the game for everyone.

I'm watching it at home with Dave (Chelsea supporter) with Harry as our referee! He's threatened to get a flag, so I politely pointed out to him where he can put his blue flag!

Melanie, I totally agree - it's stupid that the fans have got to travel to Moscow and spend a fortune and risk the wrath of the Russian police when it could have been played at Wembley or the Millenium Stadium?

I agree with the season coming to an end - what to do on a Saturday now!!!! Just wait for June when the fixtures come out, and I can go through them with a fine tooth come to check dates etc.
Like you say, tonights game will be nice to watch without biting those nails.
I tried to enjoy the game on saturday, but spent the whole time, wishing for the final whistle!

I support Swansea City Kal - had a fantastic season so looking forward to championship football. I was brought up in a sporting mad family so love all sports and played a bit of most. footie my favourite though and all my family support different clubs so been to loads of grounds etc...lucky that my parents are paying for my season ticket for the next few years - I have to scrimp and save for the away matches though.Looking forward to fixture list on 16th June!

Ah Julie a girl after my own heart!
I support Pompey and i too have a season ticket (finded by my lovely Mum!!!!).
I bet you love me for us beating Cardiff on Saturday. I went and had the best day of my life (don;t tell my husband that...LOL!).
Football is my life and this time of the year is so so dull!
You guys did very well this year - the very best of luck for you in the Championship, be you can't wait...hard league to get out of though.
My husband is a Leeds fan, so Sunday we shall be glued to the telly to see them in the Play Offs.

Kath,

My dad is a huge Leeds fan -lost count of the times he dragged me to Elland Rd! He made me promise to support Leeds in the playoffs in return for my season ticket - I had my fingers x behind my back though lol.

I was over the moon on Saturday - I was Pompey for the Day! Big thanks to you all.

Elland Road used to be our second home - if Pompey weren't at home we often went there.
i so hope they go up - they deserve it after the FA have tried their hardest to ruin them!
i now need to save up for our Europen games - hoping for AC Milan, but probabbly be some dodgy eastern european nation, that no-one has heard of.

Skippy, I KNEW I had at least one ally here. As for me, well it gets no easier. Knots in the stomach etc, and my day at work, which normally flies by and I have no time at all to do all the things I have to, is dragging like nobody's business.

I also think that an early United goal will force Chelsea out which may play into our hands, but I think Fergie will be a little cautious, and not start with Tevez for example, so I would not be surprised to see a very cagey affair indeed.

I think I'm with you Julie, as so many of my forum pals are supporting them, I'll support them too.....even though I've never watched any football match all the way through! I'll be in work but I'll listen on the radio and be thinking of you all. Enjoy yourselves tonight everyone, don't get too drunk or rowdy![:D] Viki X
