Hi All,
Just checking in to say hello and that I am still around. Been extremely busy in putting the stuff together for the IVA proposal. Set up a cashcard account for hubby as I dont want him touching joint account! Also spent 3 hours on the phone changing Direct Debits and tonight have been hard at it writing to creditors and putting together our summary of events for Melanie. Nearly have all the paperwork for Melanie now, just got to wait on home evaluations and some stuff to arrive in the post. Feels fantastic, so theraputic doing it. I feel in control, why didnt I just do this all along and then I wouldnt be in this mess?
Anyway the banks are playing up a bit, dont want to give us an account balance just a settlement figure, so have had to ask in writing as I'm clearly too nice on the phone!
Going to unwind now with a glass of wine and watch The Apprentice (Lucinda to win!!!!)
Love to all
Karen

Yep, got a feeling the banks know what you're up to. Your well on the way though. Congratulations on taking those first and very important steps to sorting it all out.

It will get better.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Well done Karen I hope it all goes really well for you.

I am going to watch the apprentice too, I recorded it earlier. I really liked lucinda until last week and she kind of stropped off and pulled against them and I lost a bit of respect for her. You need to work with your team, not pull a strop. Not that I would be any good in buisness, I am just not the type at all.
