Your lucky, the neighbourhood cats bring our front garden a number or other treats. Anyone know how to stop this? Obedience is obviously a lost cause.

Its not at all unusual to find my 2 cat monsters Bobs and Bertie have brough home a rabbit or 2 and leave them for me around the house half eaten with innards exposed[V]

They are good hunters and catch all sorts of prey. Once Bobs came home one evening with a live fish! we put it in the bath and tried to find out if it belonged to anyone trying to be discret. Sadly the fish died before morning.

I love my cats---sometimes[:)]

The joys of having cats! Harry may be a kleptomaniac feline delinquent, but I wouldn't change him!

That's what I like about cats, they do their own thing.

My old cat had a real fettish for wet washing and would bring home socks and other little bits from neighbours washing baskets. People who lost washing would just knock on the door to see what Molly had bought home that week.

Berties family name is worms (no he dosen't have them) when he was a kitten all he catch was worms, I couldn't understand where all these worms were coming from. Then I caught him coming though the cat flap with a worm in his mouth very pleased with himself--bless

My two cats,Kelly and Smeg are to slow to catch a cold or so I thought until Smeg got the taste for birds. Hubby has put chicken wire around everything she can use to get up hight to catch the little things. My big boy Ziggy was a rabbit monster and was known to bring back up to 11 a day.He would pluck them while they were still alive yuck!Sadly he is no longer with us and now we have to have the pest controllers in to gas and shoot on the estate.

We live in the middle of farm land and when they are combining the cats stay wellout of the way until the tractors and combine have finnished for the night then they go out to look for mice, never catch any as they are too slow. Im sure Hira will be fine.

My Leo came home with a baby rabbit once, but rather than harm it, he carried it in his mouth the way a mother cat would carry her kitten and released it in the lounge. The poor little thing scuttled behind the sofa, so we had to get the cat basket out of the garage, push Leo out in the garden with his brother Felix, and then bring all the furniture into the middle of room to get the rabbit in the basket. Dad then took the basket up the lane and released bunny back into the field. He's only ever done that the once, mind!
59 months down, 1 to go... whoop whoop!

When my big boy bought LIVE rabbits home I would always post them back down rabbit holes. I remember when we had workmen working next door they saw me doing the post the rabbit routine and joined in and I saw them several times a day walking the fields with baby rabbits posting them back down holes and walking back with silly smiles on their faces.
