Hi Guys, just thought I'd let you know how proud of myself I am.

My best friend rang me on Thursday evening and asked if I would like to go to Dublin for a girlie weekend with a couple of her friends also. I would be the first to jump at the chance and as Dublin has always been on my wish list, I would have loved to go. But...... I declined as for one, I can't afford it and secondly, I think that the £150 or so that it would cost me, would be better left in contingency in case of any emergencies with the cars, dog, son or anything else that might crop up.

Any other time, I would have accepted immediately and 'stuck it on the card', but now with my new frugal lifestyle, I feel it would be a waste of money and in a few months time, just a distant memory. I will save that trip for five or so years time, when I can go with my hubby and son and really savour the time there.

Just thought I'd share it; I can't believe how much I have changed in a very short time.

Onwards and upwards.

Kazzy x [:D]

What a good idea. Winning the lotto would be great, but I really need to start doing it first, then I may be in with a chance :) Kx

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
