Best of luck and well done for admitting you have a problem and now resolving it. When it goes through you will be surprised how quick the 5 years will go and then onwards and upwards to a debt free lift.

I certainly am. Just coming up to the end of my 2nd year, it goes so quick. It is a hard slog but well worth it considering the alternative!!!

Hi Mark

Welcome to the Forum. Good luck with your IVA journey. I am in my second year (made my 20th payment on Wednesday!). I'll be honest, things aren't easy but then they were even less easy when I was robbing Peter to pay Paul and at least now I can see light (albeit quite distant!) at the end of the tunnel.

Keep us posted on how you are getting on with the IVA Process.

Welcome to the forum Mark.
Things may seem harder at first what with having to budget properly for the 1st time in years(I have done a monthly budget for the past 15 years, the wife and I just cant seem to stick to it),and the fact that you lose all your credit cards means you have to work without being able to rob peter to pay paul(wish someone would pay me)

Paul.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Welcome to the Forum Mark. I'm just about to make my second payment, but the relief when it was all sorted out was indescribable.
