It was an employemnt issue. i was under the impression my employers did not need to be told of an IVA and that I could lose my job. My employers guidance states they must be told of either. So rather than paying out 350 a month or so and then handing over potential equity I no longer have to. My employer has been been great with me and the court and OR were not at all the nightmare I expected. if anything, the OR has worked with me rather than against me.

As the fees for BR always been set at £510?

It seems somewhat preposterous that someone with no money to realise their debts, is expected to pull £510 out of the hat[;)]

Can you pay by credit card?[:D]

Firstly, you need to let the IVA fail by missing three payments. Save this money up as BR will cost you £510 for court fees, and that is per person.

If David hasn't been able to assist, then I would just let it run its course. As soon as the IVA has failed then you can file for BR.

The forms can be filled in online via this link:

and we will assist you if you get stuck!

The fees went up this year, and will probably go up again next year.

Those on certain benefits can get a reduction of £150.
