A girl from Goldfish keeps ringing me at work I keep explaining that I am unable to take calls but she dosn't listen, she then said well nobody is answering your home phone my answer to that was because I'm at work, do they just think you can be at work and home at the same time!! I have now wrote to them to get my work number taken off, so see what happens.

They have rung me several times today and on the last one I just said 'You are harassing me and breaking the law. GOODBYE!!' and I then put the phone down. It is driving me insane, its not just a couple of times a day now it seems to be on the hour every hour. [:(!]

So far today they have rang 6 times Barclaycard 15 times, Barclaycard leave an automated message not saying who they want to talk to it could be father christmas for all I know. The calls from Goldfish always seem to be the same girls voice, so I don't know if she is out to p me off, well it is working, we are not going BR til Sept so i'll just have to put up with her.

If it doesn't stop soon I am going to get my number changed! Or I had another thought I remeber when i was little my dad used to keep a whistle by the phone as we were having nuisance phone calls. Perhaps i will do the same and use it when they call. Could put them off!!! LOL

My mam and dad use to keep a whistle by the phone what a good idea. I think it was in the days when there use to be party lines not sure. Now i'm showing my age!

Must be showing mine as well then because i can remember my Mum and Dad having a party line!! I suppose the equivalent now that would be good to use is a personal safety alarm. if that was set off they would never want to ring your number ever again!![:D]

At least we can have a laugh about it on this forum. But honestly it is getting out of hand. I was having calls all last night. It is hard to ignore as they just keep ringing. I am going to count them over the weekend and then get back onto my IP on Monday and get them to ring them again. I get no phone calls from other creditors at all!! Oh well its their phone bill they are waisting.

I remember party lines as well!

Good job they don't have them now otherwise everybody and his dog would know your business!

Good idea to get your number changed nomoredosh. We had just taken out BT Total Broadband with Broadband talk and so were given a different number as well as our old one. I just unplugged our old phone and gave friends and family the new number.

I had used to plug the old one in sometimes to see if anyone had phoned though!
