I have to say though Tori, neither Barclaycard nor Mercers rang me at work. Mind you, I have no idea whether or not they had my works number. They always rang at home or on my mobile. I changed the ring tone on my mobile to the same as my SMS alert so no one at work would realise I wasn't answering my phone.

I've saved all the phone numbers of creditors in my mobile and they all have the same ringtone......the Psycho shower scene music![}:)]

Kallis, that has made me laugh about the ringtone. I so need one of those, where did you get it? [:D] By the way they just rang again and this time i refused to verify my password or even confirm whi I was just very firmly told them that they are breaking the law, HARASSMENT! bLAH bLAH bLAH!!!. She then said 'thank you for your time'and hung up!! LOL

That is one way of dealing with them - they can't talk to you if you refuse to confirm your details!

Perhaps you need to speak to someone more senior in the call centre?

To make my ironing a more pleasant experience I put an extension lead out on the patio and did it in the sunshine. Don't feel like I have missed out now on the glorious weather!![8D]My IP spoke to Goldfish on Tuesday about these calls and it has made no difference.
