Well hubby has had a flyer come through the post today from the above.

They want to review his IVA as he may well have committed to repay creditors based on circumstances that he can no longer sustain.

He can have a free, no obligation, IVA health check.

They are apparantly reviewing many IVA cases and they have saved clients from the ongoing high costs of their IVA's and the unsuitability of their arrangements!

What they don't say is the money you save on your IVA will be paid across to them for them to help you go bankrupt!

We, fortunately, are wise to these ambulance chasers - a lot of people aren't though, and may well believe the claims.

If anyone is hovering out there, and has received a letter like this from any firm - do yourselves a favour and bin it. It'll cost you in the long run.

Too right Melanie! I'd never heard of these before, but at least I know what to do with it!

Not very environmentally friendly are they? All that wasted paper!

Nice to see you back, I hope you had a great holiday.

Hi,

I had a similar letter about 3-4 weeks ago from a firm called Debt Doctor! It went in the bin at the time but from what I can recall it said very similar to the Goldsmith Henderson letter. The only one who can help me get out of debt is myself..almost into my 3rd year...it is stressful at times but in the end it will be worth it.

I fear that we are going to see more and more of these companies setting up and seeking monies albeit under many guises out of the vunerable, it is a shame that they can't be named and shamed amongst the media so that everyone is aware of the underhand practices.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
