Have they told your IP why they are rejecting your offer? Try and find out and then we can perhaps identify where the problem lies.

Hi Melanie,

We haven't been told why they rejected at the moment, Sue was trying to get hold of them by this Evening for us to find out....I know that she is working really hard for us in order to try and get it approved... we are wondering whether its to do with the fact that we are only able to offer, I think it was 25p in the pound which we know isn't a lot, unfortunately.

Sorry to hear the news DM. Fingers crossed that they come round to the idea and agree to it.

The pedal uphill may be hard but remember once you reach the top you can take your feet off and freewheel all the way down!!!

Been offline for a couple of days - sorry Debt Mountain, fingers crossed for the 2 weeks. We also got a rejection initially. We then changed tack and only DH went into the IVA rather than both of us. Would that help rather than both in a DMP?

So sorry to hear about Northern Rock, but your IP should be able to negotiate if they can understand the reason for the rejection. Keeping fingers crossed for you, but I'm sure it will work out. Keep us all updated.
10 down. 50 to go. DFD planned 3/9/2013! Getting there slowly but surely.
