Makes you wonder if the tinkers are making the rolls shorter, doesnt it?. I get through loads also and I have mainly boys. Its not cheap either, well it can be but if it is, its... well... crap.

thats right the cheap stuff you buy more of because they use more you can't win and no toilet roll is not the cheapest at present, i honestly don't know what they do with it, i have tried hiding it and putting only 1 roll in the bathroom so they think there isn't much left so will go easy but it doesn't work, i wish i could say they had bra's to stuff but its 2 boys and the little girl is only 4 so hasnt got to that stage yet, that will mean extra agghhh

Hi thanks kez, its nice to know theres somewhere to go to just talk, without thinking about everything else. Anyway on a lighter note, it's St David's day here in sunny Wales tomorrow and have been spending most of this evening making daffodils and wotnot for school for the kids (even tho they look like the kids have made them lol).

Just when I think my life can't get any more complicated my car is going into the garage next week as it has been running less smoothly than it used to. The worrying thing is I put Tesco petrol in it a couple of weeks ago and it's been lumpy since then. I haven't broken down (touch wood) but something isn't right. I DO NOT NEED THIS AT THE MOMENT!!! I wasn't going to get the car serviced due to pending BR, but I need something in the meantime, so it's got to be done. Hopefully it's just got cold and damp, but the way my luck is going I'm sure it'll be expensive!

Sorry to moan!

I live in Buckinghamshire county. I have never been to Shell Island, but I have been to Bala in North Wales camping. Have fun coco. This weekend, I can be found doing laundry and cleaning the bank's house (smile). I despise ironing though. So, I let the clothes dry and then place them neatly under the bed matresses for a day or two. JOKING!! lol Enjoy your weekend all!

All I have left is my humour. :)

That's why I'm very afraid Kerri!!! I keep telling myself that if something was going to badly wrong it would have done so by now as I put the petrol in a couple of weeks ago, but it just seems a coincidence. Luckily my mum has said she will pay, and then I will give her my car maintenance allowance each month, but it's just more hassle and expense that I don't need, especially as I'll probably lose the car in BR.

Anyway, enough of my moaning - it's been a lovely day, the sun has been out and Dave and I are going to his mum's place on the south coast for the weekend and I've felt in a good mood all day despite the car!

I have something to moan about also, I was mugged yesterday and although my car is running fine, I couldnt get into it, nor my house.

Now we are all living on a budget and maybe its our own fault but is there any need for this? I dont think so.

Oh Lily, I'm so sorry - are you ok physically? No, you don't need that - you really deserve some luck. I'm sorry for my earlier moan - you've got so much more right to moan than me, and I'm sending you a huge virtual hug ))))))))))Lily((((((((((

Thats OK skippy, you can have a moan. I am Ok just didnt see it coming, I was waiting by the bank, but the dust was getting in my eyes (contacts) so I turned away, cash card in hand and he just swipped my bag, the only problem was my arm was attached to it, so I kind of went with him (had no choice really) Just a bruised arm and a painful shoulder, I hadnt drawn money out and escaped with my card. Had about 14 pounds my keys, phone and pre pay maestro, which I have cancelled. I was really shakey last night, the police came, worried about driving licence with address and keys though. I just didnt see it coming at all. It could have been worse, he could have had my car also. Thanks for the hug, the one thing that did make me cry was the bank asked if they could phone anyone and I had to say no. Oh here I go again.

I hope you're feeling better soon Lily. Some people are absolute scum - I don't know how they can live with themselves when they hurt other people. You'll get through this Lily, we're all here for you xxx
