Remember my computer went "pop" a few days ago ... well, dad came to the rescue and bought us a new one [8D]. I managed to get the old hard drive out and put it into an external hard drive case and transfer all of my files too (plus, when I re-format it, I get an external hard drive to use as a back up system).

That's the good news ( oh -- won my share of the Euromillions £148 million ........ £6.30 ..YAAY!)

Better news (for me, at least)am off to the sunny south of France for a couple of weeks, courtesy of the in-laws [8D][8D]

Hi Orchid -- yes, I am now back to reality :-) Must say, though, it was great to have a break ----- it's the only time I get these days to sit and read so I got through 4 books.

I read during my breaks at work and either at night when I go to bed and/or in a morning when the light is still ok!!

I can get through six or seven books a week.

Mrs F has a kindle which goes everywhere and reads as she walks !!! She generally manages a book a day ---- I used to read a lot more than I do .. but my foggy brain won't let me do it as much these days!
